Dzokotoes, our hosts in Ghana

Dan and Dianne Dzokotoe, invited us to stay at their home while we are in Tamale.

They have a daughter, Dzifa, who is 14 years old.  We remember her from our last visit when she was only 2!  She has grown into a lovely young lady.

Dianne is from Newfoundland and is happy to have Canadians around.  On this picture their family is joined by Elena from the US, who is also staying here.

Ken joined a game of Canasta under the shade of a tree.

Dan and Dianne have a lot of animals around – some raised to sell and some raised for enjoyment. In the backyard the sheep and turkeys are at home.

In the pens there are pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs and monkeys.  In the front veranda there  are various birds who sing mightily every morning!  Besides that there dogs and puppies!
